The Blush List - Home Cozy Home

Knitting // Lovely knit fingerless gloves, and a hairstyle I wish I could try, from Couverture and The Garbstore.
Crochet // I really want to make this giant granny square blanket from the Purl Bee.
Wish List // As if my home needs another notebook stashed in a drawer, but it's hard to resist this sweet deer design
Style // Such beautiful colors and patterns in this cozy sweater from Oysho
Art // I love that Society 6 is offering throw pillow versions of the beautiful art on their site! The winter lights and tea time pillows are two of my favorites.
Food // I wish I had time to make these raspberry and white chocolate scones for the Downton Abbey premiere tonight. Scones, tea, and Downton. Maybe I will try to make a batch next weekend...

I hope you all had a great weekend! I spent most of my time at home, bundled up in sweaters, working on some exciting projects. The best part of the weekend is almost here: Downton Abbey! It is going to be really hard for me to not look up spoilers since season 3 already aired in the UK. (You are all so lucky!) I do love a surprise though so I will try to avoid temptation. I hear this season is a good one.

How was your weekend? Is anyone else watching Downton tonight? Are you doing anything fun for the first episode?

Happy Sunday to you!

  5. I have attempted making the giant granny square blanket a few times over the last year or so.. I get so far and then it finds its way into a closet for me to rediscover it later!

  10. I've never watched Downton - but I probably should check it and see what all the fuss is about! Have you watched Sherlock? It's a brilliant UK drama but I'm not sure if it aired in the US. Well worth a watch. Have a lovely week! x

  12. I've been thinking about making a giant granny square blanket too but I seem to loose the enthusiasm for it about 10 rounds in so I end up making smaller squares instead, the giant blankets take serious dedication.

  14. I love this notebook! Don't worry—I'm one of those people who has too many journals too! But I use every single one, and I love stashing my ideas, dreams and musings in between their pages :)

A lovely blush list, for sure.
    Smiles and all the best,

  19. I saw that blanket on purl bee the other day and immediately bookmarked it. So cozy looking. I love the different take on the granny square. I love that sweater, and the lights in that pillow make me think the pillow lights up. It's sort of crazy!

  20. such a beautiful blog you`ve got! I just started watching Downton Abbey, so I`m only at season 2, episode 2. Loving it! love the characters, the plot and last but not least the costumes! And I totally agree on the scones and tea. Made some crossover muffin-scones yesterday. Yums! For some reason I find it kind of obligatory to enjoy a cup of english breakfast tea and some fresh scones whenever I watch some kind of old fashioned British tv-show. Or the Wedding of Kate and William.

  25. Yeaaaah my friends and I watched all of season 1 and season 2 (15 hours) in one day. It was awesome!!! I've loved the new season so far. Very high stakes, big drama, even without the War. I like how they're still weaving in historical stuff and really capturing how the house has to adapt to the new world. I really wish they'd shown more of M&M's wedding though! And I'm dying over the cuteness that is Mr. and Mrs. Branson (despite his ludicrous recent actions).
